A modern feel
Margarida contacted the Bathroom Advisor team to renovate one of her bathrooms. As she told us, the whole house has a classic 70s style and, for that reason, she wanted to maintain a certain harmony with the room, but modernizing this space.
In the search for a modern and current look, Margarida told us that she would also like to combine half of the wall in white with the rest in ceramic and get some contrast in the materials.
Since the bathroom had very small dimensions, and since this was a deep renovation, we presented two solutions. In the first suggestion we altered the disposition of the toilets to achieve a more harmonious space and proportionality between all the elements present. Our Genesis collection was, of all, the one that brought the most creative streak and, for this reason, we chose to coat all the walls in white. This color also allowed the sensation of space enlargement. The difference and modernity were achieved with the application of Coastal structure in the sink area, which ends up gaining a great prominence in such a small space. The ceramic tile with wood interpretation for the floor rejuvenates the space and matches chromatically with the material chosen for the sink.
On the tip of our consultants, we present a second suggestion. Here we kept the original layout of the bathroom, but with a bolder ceramic application, with the extension of the floor up to half of the wall, to make the best use of the space. The remaining decoration chosen is simple and in harmony with the ceramic tiles selected.
